A
big discussion in the UN headquarters about nuclear program
of Tehran – what is about? Is it a real fear about real
plans of Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad to create a weapon of mass destruction?
Or pretext for next "small victorious war" for Bush's
administration just before the elections in the USA? Or the
next, absolutely useless, attempt of stopping the nuclear
proliferation?
Founded in 1957 International
Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in modern history more
& more has looked like a sleeping princess. The princess
that couldn't notice anything. Who found out that South Africa
had produced 6 absolutely workable nuclear weapons only when
they decided to disassemble them in the beginning of 1990th.
Let's try to make clear some
questions. Can Iran create a real atom bomb in the nearest
future? Or it's only a "peaceful atom" and nothing
more? What is the true target of Iran in these "dances
around centrifuges" and nuclear power plant in Busher?
May be, you don't know, but
United States was the "godfather" of Iran's nuclear
program. They sold to Iran a reactor & enriched uranium
too. Yes, Mohammed
Reza Pahlavi was "son of a bitch, but he
was American's son of a bitch".
Formally Iran will have no problems
with delivery systems of nuclear weapons. Their own ballistic
missiles such as Shahab-3, aircrafts from
former Soviet Su-24 to American F-4.
But, to my mind, these "stop-and-go games" are only
the cover, the camouflage to Iran's plans. Millions of people
in burning Iraq are waiting for calm life without overseas
invaders. And what do the Shia from the full of oil south
of Iraq see?
They see usual everyday life
without high risk of being killed when you are go shopping,
mosques without explosions around or in them. And the main
thing – there are no aggressive infidels. Democracy?
Don't make me laugh! People here, in the Middle East,
don't know what it means. How many institutes of democracy
can you find in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait?
Under the camouflage of these
"attempts to be a nuclear" Iran's leaders, s I think,
are going with minimal resistance to their real target –
step-by-step inclusion of the Southern Iraq into their sphere
of influence, with real integration into one country, may
be a few years later.
Now we see interesting problems
with Bush's point of view. I can understand their "problems
of vision" with more than 100 Israel's nuclear warheads
and kidnapping work of Israel intelligence services (do you
remember Mordechai
Vanunu?). This country has responsible and compos
mentis leaders. The control over H-bombs here is strong and
serious.
But why have they forgotten
about Pakistan? The country which is not
a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The country
that has a permanent "warm" conflict with other
owner of "nuclear devices". The country that is
"home, sweet some" for Taliban, al-Qaeda and other
"peace & philanthropic" organizations. The country
with regular military coup d'etates.
But Washington continue to support
Islamabad in all spheres including the support of Military
of Pakistan, the only organization in the world that together
with possession of nuclear weapons has the close long time
friendship terrorist unions. The organization that is crazy
enough to help anybody to begin nuclear inferno tomorrow.
